With all these in the background, for some of us – both Christians and non-Christians alike, the New Year can present another opportunity or another challenge to believe in and use New Year’s resolutions. Others, however, may be anti-resolutions, holding a mocking attitude towards resolutions. For the rest of the people, they seem to simply avoid resolutions altogether. Whichever camps one belongs to – resolution-setters, resolution-haters or resolution-ignorers, there are various reasons. For some people, making resolutions are helpful, but for others, they are inclined to see resolutions as simply unnecessary or useless, sometimes even harmful, because they see making a resolution to be just like a setup for eventual failure, and it also reminds them of past failures to follow through.
But what does God say about resolutions? Should we or should we not make resolutions? How should we think and act biblically about resolutions, since the Bible, which is God’s Word, is the Life Manual that God has given us to live our life abundantly and to the fullest?
“Dare to Resolve” is an encouraging message that will give you Biblical insights in the topic of resolutions and inspire you to have the courage and bravery to Dare to Resolve.
