The last couple of weeks, I have been thinking about and reading on the characteristics and attributes of God. And when I pondered on the goodness of God, I was just overwhelmed.
Wrap yourself around this truth – God is good and He does good (Psalm 119:68). This is mind-blowing, isn’t it? This is the nature of our God and this is what He does – good!
GOOD. What do we define as good in our life? It must have God in it. We cannot spell GOOD without GOD in it, can we?
To enjoy a good day, we must ensure we have God in the picture through the course of the day. To have a good family, we must build it upon God. To have a good career, God must be in the first place.
We all want to enjoy a good life, don’t we? It is only possible when we have God in it. For only God is truly good. It is not possible to have GOOD without GOD.
GOD. What does a life with God ought to look like? It is found in the word GOD itself – you GO as God has commanded.
Matthew 28:18-20 NLT
18 Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
19 Therefore, GO and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

And then He told them, “GO into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.
Let us all live out the GOOD life with GOD always at the center of our life, and where we always GO as He has commanded – to preach the Good News to everyone and to make disciples of all nations.
